To mark World Sight Day on 8 October, we chose to acknowledge the contributions of Dr Sudarshan Sachdev, one of the leading ophthalmologists of this country.
He has been named by the Australian Government in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list in 2018 for his service to the community and the field of medicine, specifically ophthalmology.
The Sydney-based Dr Sachdev spoke to Indian Link Radio presenter Swati about his career, his philanthropic works, and about eyecare in general.
