A Prayer for learning

(A Sanskrit prayer to the Goddess of Learning, Saraswati, for the start of the new school year)

Saraswathi Namasthubhyam
Varade Kama roopini,
Vidhyarambham karishyami,
Sidhir bhavathu me sada.

My salutations to Goddess Saraswati,
Who can take any form,
Who is the bestower of all boons.
I start my studies now,
With this prayer to her,
To make it effective and successful.
