SP Jain School of Global Management inaugurates its fourth international campus in Mumbai, India

Having a campus in India has been a long-time dream of the team at SP Jain. Joining their international model in Dubai, Singapore and Sydney, the addition of Mumbai to the SP Jain network is particularly timely given India’s recent moves to become a global superpower.
The look of the new campus has been derived from the ‘selfie’ phenomenon. Termed the ‘Selfie Look’, the new campus design draws on unique features that S P Jain aspires to reflect – modern, authentic and casual. Unpolished surfaces, cement floors and open ceilings blend seamlessly with modern designs, colours and lights, giving the campus a 21st century look.
It is also one of the most technologically advanced campuses in India. The classrooms or ‘Learning Centres’ are equipped with Look at me cameras, touch screen whiteboards, high definition inter-campus video conferencing facilities and unique decision-making touchpads. S P Jain believes they are re-designing business education by being the first to use these facilities not simply as solutions, but as enablers of change and innovation in the classroom.

A distinct highlight of the new Mumbai campus is its Simulation Centre, the first-of-its-kind in any business school in the world. Just as simulators train pilots in a safe environment on the ground, the Centre will enable students to learn about complex business situations and sharpen their real-world and decision-making skills using advanced multimedia simulations.
Student Board Rooms are available for students to meet and discuss real-world business issues, and promote decision-making through peer learning. The ability to plug in their laptops into the facility and project their presentations in a television screen allows them to present their case studies in a business-like format preparing them for a corporate business career. Complete with a world-class cafeteria and executive lounge, students and visitors to the campus can treat themselves to international food and specialty coffees.
To begin with, the new campus will offer Bachelor of Business Administration, Executive MBA and postgraduate programs in Big Data and Digital Marketing, in addition to open and customised Executive Education programs.
