Nitasha Bhatia is a Sydney-based senior policy and international engagement professional with experience across Austrade, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Australian Treasury. She has worked on Australia’s economic and strategic engagement across the Indo-Pacific, including high-level Australia–India initiatives and Prime Ministerial missions. She is also co-founder of Haathi (Elephant) in the Room, a not-for-profit addressing mental health stigma in South Asian communities. Her leadership has been recognised through Asialink’s Australian Leadership Awards (Under 40) and the Austrade Australia Day Award.
