KERFEW is taking over Substation for its most ambitious program yet: TESTING, drifting between classical, contemporary and experimental music, creating a space for lovers of all genres.

Curated and produced by Kamna Muddagouni and Saieesh Shanmugarajah, TESTING is bringing to you some must-see talents:

• Aarti Jadu (live): Solo set with a hybrid of cinematic compositions and bass music laced with disparate vocal arrangements.
• Arsonist (DJ): Bengali born DJ using percussive textures to create unapparent danceability and abrasive headyness.
• Bhairavi Raman and Nanthesh Sivarajah (live): A violin + mridangam duet of classical carnatic music and drone based experimentation.
• Hantu x Vinod Prasanna (live): Where student and guru bridge contemporary and traditional bansuri (flute).
• Rakini Devi (Urban Kali) (film + performance): A live art performance.
• R Rebeiro (live): Renowned sound artist and percussionist brings his unique trace percussion improvisations set.
• Vijay Thillaimuthu (live): Electronic composer creates immersive audiovisual set using theremin-controlled modular synthesisers.
