What happens when we try to take our stories into our own hands? How can you amplify our voices without hijacking them? Can we even tell our own story?

She wants to tell her story. Her way. Can he help her or only get in her way? What biases do we hold when trying to help those who are less privileged? A story of misplaced intentions and their adverse effects. How our need for community doesn’t always attract the right people. While trying to write a novel about her people and the complexities of being an Indian immigrant in Australia, she learns more about what it means to take up space where she isn’t welcome.
