Holi Hai by South Eveleigh
This March, South Eveleigh invites Sydney to step into a vibrant celebration of Holi as part of its Colour. Culture. Connection. cultural activation — uniting Lunar New Year, Mardi Gras and Holi Hai across one dynamic precinct.
From Monday 2 March to Friday 6 March 2026, Holi Hai will transform the space into a joyful hub of rhythm, artistry and colour, welcoming everyone to participate in the festivities.
Highlights include:
🥁 Dhol Drum Game Studio (2–6 March, 7am–10pm)
A digital drumming experience across Innovation Plaza, Village Green and Interchange Pavilion, where visitors can test their rhythm solo or challenge friends in a playful nod to Holi traditions.
🎨 Henna Artistry, Turban Tying & Live Performances (Tuesday 3 March, 11am–2pm & 4pm–7pm)
Skilled cultural artisans will offer intricate henna designs and traditional turban tying, alongside vibrant performances that bring the spirit of Holi to life.
🌈 Colour Throwing Festival (Tuesday 3 March, 4pm–7pm)
A free, high-energy celebration at Innovation Plaza near BrewDog, featuring joyful colour play, music and festive performances.
Designed as a sensory-rich, immersive experience, Holi Hai at South Eveleigh encourages Sydneysiders to explore culture through participation — whether that’s drumming to a new beat, wearing tradition with pride, or joining in the iconic colour toss.
The event is free and open to all, celebrating diversity, shared experience and community connection in the heart of Sydney.
