Rice, Spice & Extra Mayo – Sydney Fringe Festival
THIS SEPTEMBER: From the Director of “Dude, Where’s My VB?” – a Chinese guy, Indian, and Irishman walk into a Bunnings… and the rest is history.
ONE MIC. THREE CULTURES. ZERO TASTE.
Facing deportation after stupidly requesting culturally-inappropriate condiments at a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, will these clowns pass the citizenship test or get sent back to where they came from?
Featuring three of Sydney’s up-and-coming comedians: Charles Wong, Easwar Krishnan & Kory Riley in their Fringe Comedy debut, get ready for a hilarious split-bill comedy show filled with accidental racism, intentional racism, cultural confusion, and punchlines that feel like diversity training gone wrong.
STARRING:
– A Chinese guy who failed to get into med school, so decided to go all-in on disappointing his parents,
– An Indian who must make up weird excuses for coming home late after his comedy shows (his family still doesn’t know),
– And the white man who has strongly condemned countless bombings, but now taking part in his fair share of them (on stage)
Hey, I heard if you ask for SOYSAUCE or VEGEMITE on your Bunnings snag, you can get 25% off… 😉
