Bharatam Reprise is a powerful tribute celebrating 75 years of Dr. Chandrabhanu and his artistic excellence. This landmark production brings together Bharata-natyam and Carnatic music performers in a revival of works from the pioneering Bharatam Dance Company. Founded as the first fully state and nationally funded professional Asian Australian dance group, the Company performed iconic choreographies from 1987-2000. Set against a rich cultural and historical backdrop, this show invites audiences to reflect on this memory, movement, and cultural continuity — a celebration of dance as both inheritance and innovation.
