From multimedia installations to conceptual textile works\, the artists explore our entanglements with nature\, death\, and each other—offering powerful reflections on responsibility and resilience. \nOne of the featured works\, Kalpavriksha: Threads of Destiny by Naarm-based artist Abhijit Pal\, invites viewers to interact with a thread-formed tree—adding or removing strands as a symbolic gesture. Created with cotton and wool\, the piece echoes Pal’s practice in visual ethnography and conceptual photography. With an MFA from Rabindra Bharati University (India) and a BA in Photography from Fachhochschule Dortmund (Germany)\, Pal has exhibited internationally and received accolades such as the Nat Geo Moment Awards and the London Creative Competition.

Subsequently she received training from Srimati Meera Banerjee\, the noted Kolkata-based vocalist. Since 1984\, Mitali was under the tutelage of late Padmabhushan Pandit V. G. Jog\, the famous violin maestro. Pandit Jog’s vast and extensive experience in the different musical styles and traditions has helped Mitali ji to blend the best of different gharanas in her music\, in contrast to sticking to a single traditional gharana style. This has been the essence of Pandit Jog’s philosophy in music and training methodology. Currently Mitali ji is expanding her repertoire in semi-classical (Thumri\, Dadra\, Kajri\, Chaiti\, Hori\, etc.) music from Smt. Dahlia Rahut\, a senior disciple of Smt. Girija Devi. Read by Adam Dunn – performer\, writer and short film producer whose recent roles include The Rising\, Play Dirty\, The Fall Guy and Elvis.  \n\n\nThree bold and resonant short stories on 7th October — ‘Clatter Tongue’\, ‘‘Golden Hour’ and ‘The Couples Therapist’—  by Ren Wyld\, Claire Aman and Abigail Ulman. \n\n\n\n\n\n‘Clatter Tongue’\, by Ren Wyld\, a writer of Martu descent\, is in Declan Fry’s words an ‘inspired’ short story which combines realism with the fantastic: ‘the throat’s inability to give voice is tied up with missing family and histories that won’t stay down.’ Read by Katie Beckett\, a celebrated Murri actor and writer whose acclaimed stage and screen work brings both artistry and cultural resonance to this prize-winning short story. \n‘Golden Hour’  by Claire Aman. Winner of the 2022 Neilma Sidney Short Story Prize\, ‘Golden Hour’ is a deeply moving story about the small loan of money between neighbours and a son that went missing decades ago.
