DESCRIPTION:For the first time ever\, Cumberland will light up for a massive Diwali Street Festival held over two jam-packed days. \nCumberland City Council is bringing the Festival of Lights to Station Street\, Wentworthville on Saturday 1 November from 5pm – 10pm and Sunday 2 November from 1pm – 8pm. \nFestival attendees will enjoy a variety of entertainment\, including a main stage that will bring together the best of local talent and cultural heritage with traditional dance performances\, live music\, fusion acts\, and cultural showcases. \nAlong with a lamp lighting ceremony symbolising the triumph of light over darkness\, the streets will be lined with local food businesses celebrating diverse cultural flavours\, as well as a vibrant street bazaar with retail stalls offering unique products\, crafts\, and activities. \nFrom a colourful Bollywood Car Photobooth to the buzzing Bollywood Block Party in Friend Park\, there will also be plenty of chances to celebrate classical Bollywood culture.
