DESCRIPTION:  \n★★★★★ “Her movement\, always so graceful and gentle\, has an unmistakable steel that tells us to sit up and listen and to think more deeply.”– Hannah Molloy\, Theatreview. \nAn intimate dance performance that weaves together the themes of love and desire\, exploring the essence of femininity and creating a vibrant tapestry of emotion and movement. \nChoreographed in Bharatanatyam—a traditional South Indian dance form—and enhanced by a blend of spoken words and movements\, the piece begins with a meditative introduction. The dancer embodies the essence of her identity—grounded\, ethereal\, and powerful. Fluid movements evoke a sense of self- discovery and inner strength\, celebrating the diverse beauty of womanhood. \nPresented by: Swaroopa Prameela Unni \nI relocated to Boorloo/Perth in February 2024 from Ōtepoti/Dunedin\, Aotearoa/New Zealand. Recently\, I showcased my work in the dance performances ’35: Stories to Stage’ at the Blueroom Theatre\, in collaboration with the Centre for Stories and Performing Lines WA\, as well as ‘I Am…’ an independent production. I practice and perform Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam\, two traditional South Indian dance forms. \nMy performances have taken me across Aotearoa and India\, allowing me to explore themes of identity\, home\, belonging\, and feminist narratives within our community. DESCRIPTION:  \nFinally\, a show for all age groups…and yes\, it’s suitable for kids too! \n‘So Mini Things’ is a standup show which is a compilation of short funny experiences narrated in a humorous way to the audience and is expected to go on for up to 75 minutes. \nThe show will predominantly be in English with some words in Hindi\, Marathi\, Tulu\, Kannada\, & Gujarati. \nConditions of Entry \n• Finally\, a show you can get your child along but in the interest of the show we request you to book a corner seat to avoid any disruptions.\n• Need tickets for anyone above 5 years old\n• Seating is fully allocated\n• Event content will be in English.\n• Due to nature of the show\, House lights may be kept on fully or flickering.\n• All sales are final.\n• In an event of international/state border restrictions or venue capacity restriction\, the show will be postponed to a later date wherein existing ticket holders will be credited for same or equivalent seats.\n• Tickets are non-refundable – Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.\n•  Booking fee will be charged & will not be refunded in case show gets cancelled or postponed.\n•  In an event of misconduct by patrons\, the event organiser reserves the right of eviction.\n•  Rights of admission are reserved.\n• Content will be almost the same as the previously performed show.\n• We will start the show on time\, and we recommend that you arrive at-least 30 minutes prior at the venue for a seamless entry.\n• These terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time at the discretion of the organizer\n• You are buying the tickets at your own will.
