DESCRIPTION:  \n“NUPURNAAD” is a captivating collaboration that combines Bharatanatyam\, an Indian classical dance\, with the melodious sounds of the Santoor. This unique presentation brings together both dance and live music on stage\, featuring the talents of Dr. Swati Daithankar\, Nupur Daithankar\, Ninad Daithankar\, and Dr. Dhananjay Daithankar. Interestingly\, the performance showcases the dynamic of family\, as it is led by a mother-daughter duo and a father-son duo—THE Daithankars. \nThe performances encompass a blend of classical and thematic semi-classical programs\, with the Santoor enriched by live Tabla accompaniment\, engaging a total of five artists.\nAlready celebrated in the US\, Canada\, the UK\, and Singapore\, the show has received immense appreciation and support from audiences. \nThe program lasts between one and a half to two hours\, beginning with a classical traditional dance by Swati and Nupur. Their performance includes Marathi Abhanga\, Surdas Bhajans\, and Meera Bhajans\, all presented in a captivating manner. Following this\, Dhananjay and Ninad delight the audience with a Santoor duo. The grand finale brings everyone together for an exhilarating display of thematic presentations\, rhythmic co presentations\, emotional interactions of different characters portrayed on stage. As universal forms of expression\, dance and music unite people across cultures\, and this performance consistently garners enthusiastic applause.
