SUMMARY:Australian Indian Historical Society - Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:  \nThis Exhibition of Photographs\, Painting\, Historical Artefacts and Sculpture which cover the period 1788 – 1945 showing Indians in Australia at work\, at play and at worship is the first of its kind and is eagerly anticipated\, in particular\, by members of the Indian\nCommunity\, the Avenel Community and the wider Australian Community. \nThis Exhibition is being presented by the Australian Indian Historical Society Inc. in conjunction with the Jubilee Park Committee of Management\, Avenel\, and is being curated by Len Kenna and Crystal Jordan with the assistance of Anne Douglas and sponsored by Valda Klaric. \nSections of this Exhibition have toured Eastern Australia and India and were warmly received wherever it was shown. This is the first time that the Exhibition has been shown in its entirety.
