Air India starts Non Stop Flights from Sydney and Melbourne

Reading Time: 2 minutesAir India has restructured the operation of its Australia-India flights to including non-stop direct services from Sydney and Melbourne

The new services, effective from 16 May, features four non-stop services a week between Delhi-Sydney-Delhi and three non-stop services a week between Delhi-Melbourne-Delhi.  The triangular routing between Sydney-Melbourne-Sydney is no longer operational.
On Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, flights will leave Sydney at 9:45 and arrive in Delhi at 17:50. In the return direction, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the flight will leave Delhi at 13:15 and arrive in Sydney the next day at 6:10.
On Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, flights will leave Melbourne at 9:45 and arrive in Delhi at 17:30. In the return direction, on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the flight will leave Delhi at 13:15 and arrive in Melbourne the next day at 6:00.
Air India continues to offer free onward connections at no extra cost between Delhi and any one of eleven Indian cities: Bangalore, Mumbai, Kozhikode, Kolkata, Coimbatore, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Trivandrum and Vishakhapatnam.
Onward connections one-way from any one of the 28 cities listed below are charged a nominal fee of $25 for economy class.
Economy Class is charged at $50 per one way between Delhi and Ahmedabad or Amritsar and $80 one way between Delhi and any one of ten Indian cities: Agatti, Dehra Dun, Dharamsala, Allahabad, Pathankot, Jabalpur, Kanpur, Kulu, Ludhiana and Surat.

$25 One way between Delhi and any one of the twenty eight Indian cities: Agra, Bhubaneshwar, Vadodara, Bhopal, Guwahati, Gaya, Goa, Khajuraho, Indore, Imphal, Mangalore, Lilabari, Jammu, Leh, Ranchi, Aurangabad, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Lucknow, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Srinagar, Tirupati, Udaipur, Vijayawada and Varanasi.
