RAJASTHAN

Preeti shares her memories of Rajasthan

Although I was born and brought up in Delhi, my roots are deeply entrenched in the Rajasthani culture.  Most of my summer vacations were spent in the beautiful city of Bikaner sliding down the sand dunes, eating local delicacies, especially the world-famous Bikaneri Bhujia!

Rajasthan is such a vibrant state that almost everything about it is loveable – the colour, food, jewellery, clothes, architecture, language, people and the warm and generous hospitality. That’s why I say with pride, kabhi toh ‘Padharo Mahare Des!’
